The weekend on Nov.9-10 2019, between CQ WW PH and CW,14 youngsters (17-23 y.o.) in Kyushu (JA6) took part in JIDX Phone contest, singing JG6YLY from Minami-Aso, Kumamoto, JAPAN.

Masa:JA6BXA, station owner and Shirow: JF6DEA supported their operation all the time, because it was the first time operation in the DX Contest for most of operators. Some operators were so much excited after successful contact with some DX station. They learned about radio wave propagation, how to make contact and team effort in the contest this time.

We wish some of them will be interested in DX contesting world.

2019年11月9～10日に開催された JIDX コンテストの電話部門に、熊本県南阿蘇の JA6BXA:河喜多さんのシャックに九州の17～23歳の若手14名を招き、JG6YLY のコールサインでマルチオペ部門に参加しました。

参加者の殆どが DX コンテストは初挑戦だったので、JA6BXA:河喜多さんと JF6DEA:木下さんが、食事の提供や、実際に運用しながらの電波伝搬やコンテストの運用方法、マルチオペの運用戦略などを解説し、実践的な運用を経験できました。中には海外の局と交信できて、大喜びしたオペレーターもいました。

今回の参加者の中から、将来のコンテスターが誕生するといいですね。
